Rock Youth

Rock Youth is the place for teenagers in Grades 7-12 at Rock Church. Our team is committed to building relationships with students to help them grow in their relationship with God.

Are you a student that’s looking to get connected? Or maybe you have a student in Junior High or High School? We meet weekly on Monday nights from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm onsite at Rock Church (222 Sackville Dr. through the Family Life Center Doors).

Each Monday night we gather with our community of students to worship God, disciple our students, and reach their friends for Jesus! Here's what you can expect if you're coming to visit us on a Monday night sometime soon.

Student pick-up

We kick off every night in community together as soon as students arrive. This is a great time for students to connect with their peers, eat great food, and play games!

After that, we gather for our Youth Service in the Mezzanine where we spend time in worship, teaching, and prayer. Every week, we want our students to be challenged by God's word and given an opportunity to respond to what the Holy Spirit is saying.

Youth Alpha

Alpha is an 11-week course that explores some of the bigger questions of life, spirituality and the Christian faith. It is a relaxed, judgement-free space to discuss with others from different backgrounds. Alpha is intended for people who have not experienced the Holy Spirit or are new to Christianity.

Each night will consist of a great meal, a short video, followed by a small group discussion around the topic of the night or other questions you may have. We invite you to join the first night and then decide if you want to continue on – no pressure!

Key Dates:
Youth Alpha runs from April 14 to June 2, from 6:30–8:00pm. Please note that there will be no session on May 19.
There will also be an Alpha Half Day on Saturday, May 23, from 9:00am–1:30pm.

One Night

Join us for One Night! It's happening on Friday, April 24th from 7pm-9pm at Rock Church (222 Sackville Drive). One Night is a regional gathering for youth and young adults across Nova Scotia to come together as one church to worship one God and to be united in prayer!
